Belmont Shore Dog Beach

Rosie's Dog Beach is a dedicated four block stretch of beach for people and dogs. It's within two blocks of most of the apartments. It provides an opportunity for dogs to recreate and explore their outerself and is located between Roycroft and Granada Avenues.

Downtown Long Beach

The city of Long Beach has almost 500,000 residents and its downtown is the hub for many attractions. It features a vibrant atmosphere for dining and shopping and includes a modern convention center, Rainbow Harbor, the Queen Mary, The Pike, and Pine Avenue.

2nd Street

This mile long strip of popular shops, restaurants, and bars feels like a unique "village." Throughout the year, it hosts major special events that include the Christmas Parade, the Belmont Shore Classic Car Shore, and Stroll and Savor, among many others. Some of these events have attendance of up to 60,000 people.

Alamitos Bay

Located immediatly next to Belmont Shore, Alamitos Bay is very popular for kayaking, swimming, sailing, rowing, and other beach activites.

Rainbow Harbor

This area features the exciting and charming Shoreline Village and its upscale restaurants and shops. Located nearby is the Aquarium of The Pacific, and opportunities for sports fishing, whale watching, and various other aquatic experiences.

Alamitos Beach

This is the closest beach to downtown Long Beach. It features swimming, kayaking, jogging, sailing, volleyball, and biking. It is about a half a block away from the Esperanza property.

Retro Row on 4th Street

This upscale and up-and-coming area features unique shops, restaurants, and The Art Theater. If you would like to step back in time, this would be an area to visit.

Area Schools

Transportation

Bike Paths

Each of the neighborhoods are interconnected with bike baths/ routes making Long Beach one of the most accessible bicycle cities around. A particular interest is the beach bike path which connects Belmont Shore to Downtown Long Beach. This path is easily accessible from any of our properties.

City Buses

An elaborate municipal bus system connects all areas of Long Beach and particularly along the beach. There are numerous bus stops nearby each of our apartment buildings.

Three local and international airports are nearby. They include:
